BEAD Application Submission

Internet service providers that met the prequalification deadline to participate in the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program may complete an application for the subgrantee selection process. The BEAD program provides $1.53 billion in federal funding to connect North Carolinians to high-speed internet.

Please review the BEAD program guidance below, which contains all the information and links to documents you will need to submit an application, access mapping tools and access the application portal.  

Key Dates

  • July 21, 10-11 a.m.: Webinar for prequalified providers only
  • July 30: Applications due through the Enterprise Business Services grants system by 11:59 p.m.  
  • Sept. 4: NCDIT submits tentative awards to NTIA
