Digital Opportunity Survey (2026)
We are encouraging all North Carolinians to take the state’s second Digital Opportunity Survey to let us know about their individual needs for accessible and affordable high-speed internet, computers and digital skills to safely use online resources to work, learn, benefit from health care, access government services, and thrive in the modern digital economy. Responses from residents will be used to update State plans and continue initiatives with partners that meet North Carolinians’ evolving needs.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be automatically captured as participants work through the survey. No data will be released or used that can identify participants. Participation is voluntary; respondents may choose not to answer any or all questions and may stop at any time.

Who should take the survey? We want all North Carolinians to take the survey, so please use the following toolkit, available in English and Spanish, to promote it via printable flyers, website/newsletter content, social media posts, and large-format digital displays. The survey itself is available in the top languages/dialects spoken in North Carolina and is available in print for individuals who do not have internet access.
